A 42-year-old woman was killed in an early morning accident along the highway in Caroni.

Colleen Osborne, a beauty technician of Pleasantville, was heading south in her black Kia Sportage around 2:15am today.

Police say that she lost control and crashed into the median, suffering fatal injuries.

DMO Narresh Singh pronounced Ms Osborne dead at the scene of the accident.
