TTPOST says the T&T Postal Workers’ Union was not in attendance at a scheduled negotiation meeting.
This statement followed one from the union which said it had rejected government’s 4% offer to workers.
TTPOST says it is disappointed, since during the first negotiation meeting on December 2nd, 2024, the union agreed to have follow-up meetings on January 16th, 23rd and 30th.
It also claims that the union has failed to submit counterproposals to the initial offer made by TTPOST’s management for three bargaining periods.
TTPOST says it is looking forward to the union’s attendance at the next scheduled meeting.
