DNA results have confirmed that a body found in October 2024 is that of 19-year-old Maria Paul.

Paul was reported missing on September 12th, 2024 and a body was found in a shallow grave in Wallerfield during search efforts.

In a post to Facebook this morning, the Hunters Search and Rescue Team led by Vallence Rambharat says Paul’s mother, Ria Thompson, confirmed that, according to the DNA results, the body was that of her daughter.
