Air quality in Port of Spain is currently listed as “Sensitive Groups” or Orange.

The EMA’s AQI reading at 10am warns that this means an increasing likelihood of respiratory symptoms in sensitive groups.

Meanwhile, the air quality reading in Toco is listed as “Moderate” or Yellow, while the readings in Point Lisas and Arima are “Good” or Green.

There are no readings at this time at the monitoring stations in San Fernando and Signal Hill in Tobago.

On Monday, the Met Service warned of mild to moderate Saharan Dust quantities for the duration of the week.
