An unemployed Barataria man has appeared before a Master of the High Court, charged with the murder of 49-year-old Emerine Harewood.

The victim, a handyman from Barataria, was shot and killed on September 4th 2024.

29-year-old Carlon Joseph appeared before Master Franklin in the High Court North B yesterday, also charged with Possession of a Firearm and Possession of Ammunition.

The Sufficiency Hearing date has been set for June 17th 2025.
