Two persons have been arrested as police seized $396,000 worth of cannabis in Tobago.

According to the TTPS, officers yesterday observed suspicious activity involving two men and a black Nissan Almera at Lighthouse Road, Crown Point.

They continued surveillance until the vehicle reached Bay Street in Carnbee where it was intercepted and searched, revealing 18 packages of cannabis.

Two suspects, both aged 34, from Carnbee were arrested.
