Two men were arrested as police seized over $42 million dollars worth of cannabis and cocaine in Tobago.
Around 7:30pm yesterday, an anti-crime operation was executed at Pigeon Point Beach, Crown Point, Tobago.
During this time, officers intercepted a white and blue pirogue with two male occupants.
In the vessel they found 231.7 kilogrammes of cannabis, 13 kilogrammes of cocaine, three guns and a quantity of assorted ammunition.
The drugs have an estimated street value of TT$42,214,350.
The suspects, of Marabella and Buccoo, were arrested in connection with the finds.
