WASA says water problems in parts of Central and Southwest Trinidad are due to a chemical dosing issue at DESALCOTT’s Point Lisas Desalination Plant.
In a media release, WASA says the plant, owned and operated by DESALCOTT, has seen its production reduce from 40 million gallons of water per day (mdg) to 36 mgd.
WASA says it is liaising with DESALCOTT on the situation and will provide another update.
