Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley says he will accept the Salaries Review Commission’s report.

Among other things, that report recommends substantial increases for the Prime Minister, President and Opposition Leader.

There has been much public discussion since, with many criticizing increases for politicians in the midst of the current economic situation.

At a media conference today, Dr Rowley gave his take on that report and its recommendation.

Dr Rowley also responded to some criticisms.

For the Prime Minister, the report suggests an increase from around $59,000 to over $87,000.
