The Local Government Ministry says it response to the impact of recent bad weather in parts of north Trinidad is continuing.
The adverse weather over the weekend resulted in widespread street flooding, flash flooding, landslides, and fallen trees.
In an update this afternoon, the Ministry says cleanup operations are actively underway in Saddle Road, Maraval; La Seiva Road; and surrounding streets, to clear debris and restore road safety.
Efforts are also ongoing to remove a landslip at Rudolph Trace to reconnect isolated communities, for the removal of fallen trees in several locations, as well as drainage clearing and debris removal in parts of Diego Martin.
