Tomorrow and Friday, the T&T Postal Workers Union will march to highlight several issues facing their membership.
Tomorrow, they will be joined by the Joint Trade Union Movement as they walk from the Arima Post Office to the Union’s office in El Dorado.
Then on Friday, the union and its members are scheduled to march from the Aranguez Savannah to the Finance Ministry’s office in Port of Spain.
One of the main issues to be highlighted is the Union’s repeated call for the implementation of a Job Evaluation over a decade ago, which recommended a pay increase.
103.1FM News spoke today with the Union’s Secretary General David Forbes.
There are also concerns regarding upcoming wage negotiations.
