West Indies duo of Hayley Matthews and Deandra Dottin starred in a convincing Women’s Big Bash win for Melbourne Renegades over Adelaide Strikers.
Adelaide made 185/8 with Matthews taking two wickets and Dottin one, which turned out to be just a prelude to the carnage to follow.
In the chase, Matthews made 85 not out from 54 balls and Dottin smacked 46 from 18 balls as the Renegades got to 186/1 in just 17.1 overs.
Matthews was named Player of the Match for her efforts which see the ‘Gades sitting in second in the WBBL table with eight points from seven games.
