Over $19m worth of cocaine has been seized by police.

Yesterday evening, police intercepted two vehicles along the highway near Grand Bazaar.

A search reportedly uncovered 12 packets of cocaine weighing 13.8 kilogrammes, leading to the arrest of three male suspects from Fyzabad between the ages of 19 and 36.

Police say the drug has an estimated street value of $19,236,096.

Meanwhile, police in Tobago arrested a 24-year-old man after allegedly finding compressed marijuana on a truck coming off the Cabo Star cargo vessel.

The discovery was made between 8pm and 10pm yesterday in a Mitsubishi flatbed.

The drug weighed in at around 2.8 kilogrammes.
