An East Dry River man is due in court, charged with a 2023 double murder in St Ann’s.

The suspect was charged after investigations into the shooting deaths of Franz Lavine and Joseph Lawrence, and the wounding of another man, in November 2023.

The victims were at a bar when two armed men opened fire on a group and fled the scene.

The suspect has since been charged with the murders, shooting with intent, possession of firearm and possession of ammunition.
