Kidnapped businessman Suvesh Ramnarine has been found alive and is safe, according to search and rescuers.
In a post to Facebook this morning, the Hunters Search and Rescue Team says its captain Vallence Rambharat can confirm with certainty that Ramnarine “is at a safe place.”
It thanked the TTPS for its work and members of the public for their prayers and words of hope.
Guardian Media reported that Ramnarine was “released by his kidnappers around 1:30 am today in the Cunupia district.”

Ramnarine was snatched by kidnappers dressed as police on October 12th in Cunupia.
