T&TEC workers are continuing their picket action at locations across the country.

Simultaneous demonstrations are currently being held in Port of Spain, Arima, Couva, Freeport, San Fernando, and Scarborough.

Similar actions have been held over the past couple of weeks, with workers complaining of issues such as health and safety concerns and wage negotiations.

The latest action comes despite recent legal developments.

On Sunday the Industrial Court issued an order barring the workers from taking industrial action.

The OWTU however insists that pickets were held before and after working hours, and during their lunchtimes.
