Overnight adverse weather has impacted a number of WASA water treatment facilities in North Trinidad.

The following sites have been affected by high turbidity caused by heavy rainfall and clogged screens due to flooded river conditions:
• Tompire (Toco, Balandra)
• Matura
• Quare (parts of Valencia)
• Guanapo (parts of Arima, Pinto Road, Mt Pleasant, Calvary Hill)
• Mc David Intake (Surrey Village, parts of Lopinot)
• Caura (El Dorado, Tacarigua, parts of Tunapuna)
• Acono (parts of Maracas St Joseph
• L&N (parts of Maracas St Joseph)

WASA says efforts are being made to return the facilities to service at the earliest possible time.
