Close to 1.5 million people are being evacuated in Odisha and West Bengal, India as Cyclone Dana approaches.
The storm is expected to make landfall within 24 hours and thousands of relief workers have been deployed to minimize damage.
Dana is expected to hit coastal areas with wind speeds of 100-120 km/h.
Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi says arrangements are in place to ensure the safety of residents, while state officials say they have prepared temporary relief camps with food, water and health facilities.
Transportation services have already been affected, with trains and flights cancelled.
