A Men’s Bureau is coming.

This assurance comes today from Ayanna Webster-Roy, Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister with responsibility for Gender and Child Affairs.

Today, she opened the Second Working Men’s Forum with the assurance of governmental support for all men through constructive, solution-oriented discussions.

She said support will also ultimately come through the establishment of a Men’s Bureau.

The working men attending both forums discussed gender-related issues such as power dynamics and sexual harassment; and practical strategies and tools for addressing and preventing these issues in the workplace.

They also discussed the lessons learned from the implementation of Men’s Bureaus in Jamaica and Grenada.
