Calypso Rose and the late Mighty Shadow are among a number of persons to be honoured on Carnival Friday in Tobago.

On October 25th, a number of prominent streets of Scarborough and landmarks will be renamed in a show of respect to the following individuals:

• McCartha Linda Sandy-Lewis, also known as ‘Calypso Rose’
• Bertille St Clair
• Allan Richards
• The late, Winston Bailey, also known as ‘The Mighty Shadow’
• The late, James A.A. Biggart
• The late Dr. Jacob Delworth Elder
• The late Aloysius Morean
• The late Edna Morean
