The T&T Police Service has added 93 new vehicles to its fleet and expects to add 73 more by the end of the year.

The vehicles will be distributed across all 10 police divisions and assigned to various sections, branches and units.

Police Commissioner Erla Christopher believes the additions will allow police to quicker respond to incidents and increase visibility in communities.

The TTPS adds that it expects immediate and far-reaching benefits to the public.
