Police are at the scene of a double murder in Barrackpore, where a woman and her young daughter have been killed.

The victims have been named in media reports as 34-year-old Tara Ramsaroop and the one-year-old child.

The incident unfolded around 11am today at Rigg Road, off Rochard Road.
