The new deadline for Property Tax payments is November 29th 2024.

In a statement, Finance Minister Colm Imbert said he was also cognizant of lingering issues concerning the receipt of Notices of Assessment by some owners and occupiers of residential land from the Board of Inland Revenue.

As such, the time period for the Board of Inland Revenue to issue Notices of Assessment has been extended to October 31st 2024.

The Ministry says it is also continuing to actively pursue other forms of payment for Property Tax.

This follows complaints about long lines at payment locations, and the current unavailability of online payment options.

Meanwhile the Ministry reminds that the rate of Property Tax was previously decreased from 3% to
2%.
