Several persons are being interviewed and assisting the police in their investigations in connection with yesterday’s robbery involving the Minister of Health.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Suzette Martin says efforts are underway to apprehend the perpetrators in the shortest possible time.

Terrence Deyalsingh was in the St. Joseph area around 5pm yesterday, where he was held at gunpoint by two men who snatched his gold Bera and escaped in a green-colored vehicle.

Mr. Deyalsingh, 66, was sitting on a bench outside a bar along King Street, and the gunman allegedly pointed the firearm at his head and announced a robbery.
