Tropical Storm Gordon has formed in the Atlantic.

The National Hurricane Centre says Gordon is expected to move more to the west this weekend and Monday.

Maximum sustained winds are near 65 km/h with higher gusts.

Slight strengthening is expected today before a weakening trend begins on Saturday.

There are no watches or warnings in place at this time.
