The Met Service says it is monitoring an area of concern in the central tropical Atlantic.

The TTMS says it has been given a 0% chance for cyclone formation over the next 48 hours and a 20% chance for formation over the next 7 days.

At present, with the expected development and likely path, this area poses no direct threat to Trinidad and Tobago.
