The United Arab Emirates has been confirmed as the new venue for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024.

The tournament, set to be held in October, has been moved out of Bangladesh due to recent political turmoil.

In a statement, the ICC says the while the event will now take place in the UAE, the Bangladesh Cricket Board will continued as host of the event.

The tournament will take place across the two venues – Dubai and Sharjah – from October 3rd to 20th.
