WASA says attempts are apparently being made to agitate communities into protesting about water, bypassing dialogue.
Its statement comes following what it described as an “ill-advised protest” in Coalmine, Sangre Grande over the weekend.
WASA claims the community received a pipe borne supply of water the day before the protest and was due to receive another supply the same Saturday evening.
The company admits that Coalmine is located on the extremities of the pipeline system but assures that it has been committed to working with the community and its representatives to ensure needs are met.
