Two men are now dead after their van overturned under the Cipero Bridge, in the vicinity of C3.

Members of the Hunters Search and Rescue Team led by Captain Vallence Rambharat were on site this afternoon.

In a statement on Facebook, the team says water was seen running through the cabin of the overturned vehicle, with two lifeless bodies seen inside.

The deceased have been identified as Sachin Teeluckdharry and Ryan Ramnanan.

The accident is believed to have occurred as they were heading home after liming with friends.
