A 26-year-old Maraval man has been charged with the murder of Che Mendez and the wounding of another victim.

On July 3rd 2024, 42-year-old Mendez and a security officer were conducting sales in Maraval when they were allegedly abducted by three armed men.

They were taken to the Fondes Amandes Road district and shot, with Mendez dying at the scene.

The suspect was arrested on July 10th and charged yesterday.
