Dr. Solange Kelly has been appointed as Assistant Vice President, Undergraduate Studies at the University of Trinidad and Tobago.
Dr. Kelly has over 20 years of postgraduate research and industrial experience in process optimisation, exergy analysis, exergoeconomic analysis, air conditioning, and manufacturing.
She also has over seven years of experience in the manufacturing industry, developing expertise in discrete manufacturing, air conditioning design, and operation.
Dr. Kelly holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Energy Engineering from the Faculty of Energy Engineering and Environmental Protection, Technical University, Berlin, Germany. She also holds a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) and Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of the West Indies (UWI).
Before this appointment, Dr. Kelly served as the Programme Leader of the Utilities and Sustainable Engineering Unit at UTT, providing guidance which led to the growth of the Unit’s programme offerings.
