T&TEC says it is nearing the completion of restoration works following the passage of Hurricane Beryl.

The conditions associated with the weather system caused power outages in both Tobago and Trinidad.

T&TEC says all affected areas in Trinidad have had power restored while 95% of affected persons in Tobago have had electricity return.

Eleven areas in Tobago are still without power and the largest community still affected is L’Anse Fourmi, where a landslide is preventing access to a fallen overhead line.
