Canadian YouTuber Chris Must List will be going home early next week, after the court ordered he be given back his passport.
After being charged with Sedition, Christopher Hughes appeared virtually before a High Court Judge this morning.
He was granted permission to travel, but he will return to Trinidad before his next court appearance on August 23rd, where the passport will again be re-lodged.
The vlogger posted a video to Instagram today following his court matter. “They granted me my freedom to travel home. Emotionally it hit me; it was a tough night; I missed two of my three kids’ graduations, but Tristan, our eldest son, his graduation is coming up on Wednesday and I’ll be home before Wednesday. I’m able to pick up my passport on Monday morning and fly as soon as I have my passport, so Monday or Tuesday I’ll be at home in Canada.”
Hughes thanked the well-wishers who have been supporting him, and stated he will continue to fight to prove his innocence.
