New Zealand’s Lockie Ferguson today bowled the most economical spell in Men’s T20 World Cup history.

During New Zealand’s match against Papua New Guinea at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy, he bowled four overs, took three wickets and conceded zero runs.

Papua New Guinea were bowled out for 78 runs in 19.4 overs.

Devon Conway then scored 35 as New Zealand reached 79/3.

The 7-wicket win ends what has been a difficult World Cup campaign for the Blackcaps, who were eliminated after losing their two opening matches against Afghanistan and West Indies.
