MP Rushton Paray says fixed dates for internal elections and fixed terms for NATEX positions will be implemented if his United Patriots win the UNC’s upcoming internal polls.

He made the statement while speaking at the Felicity Hindu School last night where he warned that changes are necessary if the party is to win the next general election.

Mr Paray expanded on the slate’s proposed changes, saying that fixed dates for internal elections would mean no one will be ridiculed for asking for the polls to be held.

Furthermore, he believes implementing fixed terms for NATEX members would force the party to think about the next generation, noting that there are plans to reintroduce the idea of a party school.

This facility, he noted, would be used to prepare that next generation to hold roles within the UNC.

The UNC’s internal elections will be held on June 15th, 2024.
