A mechanic from Maracas, St Joseph has been granted $150,000 bail after appearing in court charged for the kidnapping of Anisha Hosein-Singh.

According to reports, Kevin Augustus appeared before Master Sarah De Silva today, with a sufficiency hearing set for March 17th 2025.

Mrs Hosein-Singh was snatched by armed men on May 18th in El Dorado and released near the Caroni Cremation site on May 22nd.

The morning after her release, police shot and killed four men in a forested area off St John’s Road, St Augustine.
