Chris Must List granted bail

YouTuber Christopher Hughes was granted $100,000 bail when he appeared in court this afternoon on a sedition charge.

Known online as Chris Must List, Hughes has been in custody since last week.

He was later charged with Publishing a Statement with Seditious Intention, after he posted videos featuring alleged gang members, some of whom spoke and brandished weapons.

A report by the T&T Express says Master Margaret Sookraj-Goswami ordered that his passport be handed over to the High Court Registrar by noon tomorrow.

She also stated that if he is able to access bail, he should reside at the home of his attorney until his next appearance before the court on Thursday morning.
