MrBeast is now the biggest YouTube channel, dethroning Indian music label T-Series in the battle for the most subscribers.
The 26-year-old, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, has gone past 269 million subscribers, beating T-Series’ 266m who had taken the “most subscribed” title from PewDiePie.
MrBeast is known for his video content which includes giving away private islands, being buried alive, and staging a real-life version of the Netflix hit Squid Game.
T-Series originally set the record in 2019 by overtaking PewDiePie and is a channel which uploads movie trailers and music videos.
