Vandals struck at the Bharatiya Vidya Abhyas Mandali on Watts Street in Curepe.

Rubble was strewn everywhere, with a number of murtis destroyed, including six four foot murtis.

Several jhandis were also toppled.

103.1FM News spoke with Temple President Sita Kalloo, who says the incident has left them devastated.

The Sanatan Dharma Maha Sabha has condemned the incident.
