Search and rescue officials say they will be reaching out to local authorities regarding a body found on the coast of Venezuela last month.
The find on March 3rd had followed the disappearance of five Cedros fishermen who went on a fishing trip in February.
When the Perdenales discovery was made, it was believed that the body was that of one of the missing men, David Seepaul, however, there has been no confirmation from Venezuelan officials.
The Hunters Search and Rescue Team says the families of the missing men have since reached out for assistance.
It notes that the Team will contact the Foreign Affairs Minister and the Point Fortin MP on the matter.
