The major fires in Penal over the last two weeks has prompted another call for a fire tender at the Fire Station in the area.

MP Dr. Roodal Moonilal says the station at Clarke Road remains just a building, as units from Princes Town and Mon Repos, San Fernando must respond to fires in Penal and environs.

He says the Government has offered various excuses for not outfitting the station, the most recent being that the equipment is on the port.
