A teenager is expected to appear before a Master for the Magisterial District North, on Tuesday 2nd April, 2024, charged with the murder of Keron Gray, which occurred on March 17th, 2024.

The accused, 17, of Valencia, was also charged with Attempted Murder, Possession of Firearm and Possession of Ammunition, following advice received from Director of Public Prosecutions, Roger Gaspard SC, on Thursday 28th March, 2024.

Gray, 39, of Cumuto was shot and killed on Sunday 17th March, 2024 in the Valencia district.

Another man was wounded in the incident. One suspect was arrested in connection with the matter on Sunday 24th March, 2024, by PC Morgan of the Valencia Police Post.

Investigations were supervised by ASP Victor, Insp. Ramjag, Insp. (Ag.) Simon, Cpl Jones and Cpl Gordon, all of the Homicide Bureau of Investigations (HBI), Region Two.
