WASA is reminding of the impending shutdown of the Caroni Water Treatment Plant from noon on Friday, but assures mitigation measures are being put in place.
The shutdown, which runs until noon on Sunday 11th August, 2024, is being done to carry out electrical maintenance work at the plant and other works along the Caroni North and South transmission system.
WASA’s Senior Manager, Corporate Communications, Daniel Plenty, says the company is taking steps to ensure the impacts of the shutdown are lessened.
