A man from Cedros is due to appear at the Pt. Fortin Magistrates’ Court next week, after he was charged with Murder on 21st July 2023.

The 28 year old was charged following the advice of Director of Public Prosecutions, Mr. Roger Gaspard SC. He was charged
relative to the circumstances surrounding the death of 27 year old Tevin Francois Guapo, whose body was found on 28th June 2023.

Police reports indicate that around 9 am on 28th June 2023, a man observed the body of a man with chop wounds, lying motionless on the roadway, while he was proceeding to his garden located at Mc Kenzie Road, Heritage Field Road, Point Fortin.

Officers of the Homicide Bureau, Region Three conducted intensive investigations into the matter, which resulted in the arrest of the accused,
who was charged with Murder by PC Ramnarine.
