The Tortured Poets Department – the new album from Taylor Swift – has broken the record for Spotify’s most-streamed album in a single day.

Swift is so now the most-streamed artist in a single day, while ‘Fortnight (feat. Post Malone)’ became Spotify’s most-streamed song in a single day.

The hotly anticipated album was released on Friday.

It contains 31 tracks which tell of heartbreak and anger than many believe are directed at former partners.

It is her 11th studio album and her first release of new music since 2022’s Grammy-winning Midnights.
