West Indies Women beat Ireland women in WC Qualifier

    West Indies Women earned their first points when they defeated Ireland Women by 6 wickets in their opening match of the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier.

    Bowling first, the Windies restricted Ireland to 159 all out in 43 overs.

    Anisa Mohammed picked up 3/40 while captain Stafanie Taylor grabbed 2/15

    The West Indies then reached their target comfortably in 39.3 overs, thanks to an unbeaten 73 from Deandra Dottin and 41 not out from Taylor.

    The West Indies Women play their second match of the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifiers 2021 against Sri Lanka on November 27th.
