West Indies cricketers will wear the ‘Black Lives Matter’ logo on their shirts when they face England in the test series starting on July 4th.
The decision was taken by the players and management with the full support of Cricket West Indies.
The logo was designed by Alisha Hosannah and permission was granted for it to be displayed on the collar in keeping with ICC regulations.
It has a clenched fist in place of the letter “A” in the word “Black”.
It’s the same logo used on the shirts of all 20 Premier League clubs since football returned behind closed doors due to COVID-19.
