Five-time champions Brazil waltzed into the 2022 World Cup quarter-finals after a commanding win over South Korea.
Brazil got goals from Vinícius Júnior, Neymar, Richarlison and Lucas Paquetá.
Korea hit back with a consolation goal once through a brilliant Paik Seung-ho volley in the 76th minute.
Brazil’s win set up a quarter-final meeting with the 2018 World Cup runners-up Croatia who beat Japan earlier today.
Japan took the lead when Daizen Maeda stabbed home after a corner in the 43rd minute but in the 55th minute, Ivan Perišić headed Croatia level.
Scores remained level despite extra-time.
Croatia goalkeeper Dominik Livaković then turned hero saving three of Japan’s penalties in the shootout which Croatia won 3-1.
