T&T Women have won their opening Super 50 Cup game against Leeward Islands.
Batting first, Leewards made just 132/8 in 50 overs with a top score of 46 from Shawnisha Hector.
Kirbyina Alexander took three wickets while there was one each for Caniesha Isaac, Lee-Ann Kirby and Anisa Mohammed.
Then, T&T chased the score in 35 overs with eight wickets in hand as Reniece Boyce top scored with 35.
T&T are in Zone B of the Super 50 Cup with Guyana and Leewards and are aiming to reach the final on June 25th.
