The T&T national football team are off to a winning start in their 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers after beating Guyana 3-0.
The two teams met at the San Cristóbal Panamerican Stadium in the Dominican Republic.
Levi Garcia put T&T ahead in the 8th minute with Sheldon Bateau making it 2-0 in the 15th.
Ryan Telfer made it 3-0 before halftime and that was the way the score line would stay.
T&T is in Group F in this first round of qualifying with St Kitts and Nevis, Bahamas, Puerto Rico and Guyana.
They’ll do battle with Puerto Rico on Sunday 28th March at 5pm in their opponent’s backyard – the Estadio José Antonio Figueroa Freyre.
